Hi

I'm looking for a padded travelling rug, the only one I can find on a google search is the Comfort Zone transit rug...does anyone know of any others?
I like the look of the comfort zone one but it's expensive, has anyone got any reviews of it...good or bad? Or a second-hand one for sale, medium (6ft-6ft3)?!

Thanks

i assume that you are after a rug that has padding in to protect the horse during transit. In that respect could you not just put them in a padded stable rug??

Why? would the horse not get too hot in such a rug...always been told to and always have travelled all of mine in nothing more than a light sweat rug or nothing at all.

i don't think I've ever read such a load of BS in one ad...if your horse is thrown around a little as per norm then I highly doubt there will be any damage tosaid horse, in more horrendous cases eg a crash or whatever I also highly doubt the rug would do very much to help.

OP if this is due to a horse having problems in the trailer eg. falling over, panicking and generally being a bad traveller etc.. then adress the problem either by yourself or with proffessional help, don't get dawn in by an expensive gimmick.

If I could afford that then I'd be getting a thermatex instead! Like above, if you *really* need it padded in places then shove some foam of some sort on it.
