my highland x has a grazzing muzzle on most of the day i noticed yesterday he has a bald patch on his nose and one under his chin. Does anyone have any ideas? he needs it on but dont want it to be hurting him.

I have the same problem with the one I have for my section b - not that she'll wear the thing

I used a strip of faux sheepskin stuff and superglued it to the offending spots. Looks a bit odd but does the job.

I raided the local craft shop and bought a square metre of fun fur fabric, with which I made tubes and pads to cover the straps under the chin. I also bought some fantastic ribbon, called "double satin" ribbon, which was only 38p per metre, and wrapped it round the noseband. It's cooler and not as bulky as fun fur or sheepskin, very smooth and will not fray. It comes in several different widths and colours. Be warned, you may end up modifying every muzzle on the yard, lol.
