Paddock blade anyone have one?

I watched the video with some amusement - the device might work in flat dust bowls. In your average English horse field, paticularly with a number of horses using the same poo patches, all it would do is spread the muck around a bit (rather less efficiently than chain harrows) and break the back of the person emptying it. There is NO easy answer to horse pooc - years ago I bought a poo hoover, which would have been great for a couple of horses but would have required a full time person doing nothing else with the number I had. Now, I settle for harrowing and resting - and regular worming.

Thanks Janet George. We have a flock of sheep and co-graze, rotate and FEC but I was hoping to find a miracle aid to help me during the summer months and also inspire my husband to help (he likes the quad, the horses less so..)

I've got one and it was very handy to get a neglected field back in control. It's a flat dry field with short grass. The 4x4 plus blade made short work of collecting up the poo which was easily cleared out at intervals with a plastic shovel. A satisfying heap soon ensued. Now it's possible to get back to a daily barrow/scoop collection. I don't think it's the answer to everything but still a useful tool and certainly nothing back breaking about it (I am 65)

Thank you, that's really helpful. The summer fields are flat and have short grass, as grazed by the sheep first, so this sounds like a helpful tool.
