I have decided this year to invest in a paddock vac to go on the back of the quad. Can I have some feedback from you knowledgeable souls please? Just which ones to avoid, which ones are worth their weight in gold etc. I have no experience of them at all! There is about 30 acres, and up to 15 horses.
Thanks!

i know you mention getting a vac not a sweeper, in case you change your mind, don't bother with a Waste Warrior sweeper - i had one and it really did my back in emptying it, i used to do it all by wheelbarrow instead, bit pointless having something that cost a few grand sitting in the barn though...
best of luck finding one.

I can vouch for the Predator Cub Pro i couldnt do without mine very powerful , i think you would need the Predator Lynx same engine as mine but bigger hopper.

I have this one as well but it has sat unused in our tractor shed for about 3 years now! I found it difficult to use for just one person which was a pain as I constantly had to find someone to help. I also found it a bit heavy to use and 2 people could usually do the same area in less time with a wheelbarrow! May have just been me though! It was great at reducing the muckheap as it mulches the droppings.

I had a paddock vac - Tippa and to be honest I agree it was easier to use a wheelbarrow. The wander hose had to be positioned exactly over the poo and the poo had to be dryish. It was not good in the wet as the hose would block up and I was continually unblocking it.

I have now got a danelander combi which tops, vacs and harrows at the same time collecting poo, acorns, grass and any other rubbish at the same time. Mulches it all and then has a high tip so I can tip it into the muck heap or waste area. However it needs to be used on a tractor not a Quad.

I did have a quad but all the implements were so expensive and the quad was not really up for pulling a full muck collector. And it was expensive to maintain. I have a Sirmoer tractor - which does every job around the farm and yard and attachements are really cheap.

The Danelander Combi looks great, Do you know how much muck can it hold ? We have 30 acres/20 horses worth of muck ! Do you think it will be suitable ?
