cutting 'N' things are very good, based in Lincs but do cover out your way.

Thanks to Aoibhin - I did contact Cutting N Things and yesterday Gary turned up with his tractor and sprayer and did a great job for us. After being given so many conflicting ideas of how to get rid of the weeds, etc, I finally decided I would have to pay someone with the "experience" of horse paddocks. Gary was great - before he left he gave me "idiot proof" instructions on how and what to mix up to spray the odd bits as and when I needed to around the yard, told me when to do it, and generally was a great help.
Prior to coming, after I explained what a mess the paddocks were now in (having been let down previously by someone who was going to have them sorted for me earlier in the year) he told me I was welcome to buy the products myself for him to spray. This was ideal for me as I have a company only 6 doors away from me who specialise in fertilisers and chemicals etc, so Gary told me exactly what to buy and how much of it and having bought them, it was all ready and waiting along with a hose for him to fill his sprayer up.
He was totally honest with us about our riding track - saying we would be wasting our money getting that sprayed at the moment, and gave us an alternative for that.
He was very thorough, was a pleasure to speak with and charged a very reasonable rate.
We are based between Ely and Newmarket so will travel to you.
