I have a very nice silouhette working hunter saddle. it fitted wonderfully when I bought it early summer on my fit and difficult to fit welsh cob. He has bit shoulders, wide back, a bit of a dip and a bit back end.
He was out of work for two or three months due to trying to go barefoot. He has lost a lot of muscle tone so currently his saddle is a wee bit to wide and moves a bit behind. I dont want to have the saddle reflocked at present as I think in a few months time when he muscles up it will fit him fine. The saddle can be adjusted within a half size up or down and is warranted for a free reflock in the first two years so I plan to get it looked at next spring.
Any suggestions for good saddle pads? I have considered a suber pad but they cost to much for me to afford at present.
