Stupid question but - Can paint horses do dressage? Have seen one for sale and sounds lovely but want to eventually do dressage. Are they built for the job? Scuse my ignorance!

Whereabouts are you as in the Uk a paint horse is just a colour like piebald and skewbald and any colour horse can do dressage.
I'm not sure if paints are registered in America and Canada as a breed. Even so you should still be able to do dressage on one.
Depends on an individual horse and what level you want to go at.

Most paint horses I've known have had lovely paces. They've also had a nice chilled out attitude to work.
