Paint which works on a horse?

Thanks to those who gave me fancy dress ideas for my son and his pony this weekend... my next question is what paint would work for painting things onto the horse?? Would usual childrens paint work? Ideally needs to be something I can fetch from Tesco tomorrow

Chalk paint is completely non toxic and washes out. You can get if from b&q or homemade. If your doing shapes I use chalk pens from a stationers, much better to control

Thanks, will it be a strong enough colour though? It's for going on a currently-malting very dark bay...

we use the normal childrens paint from tesco's to paint the ponies on ''fun days'' its water based like this one

Ha ha, PETA would have gone nuts last week with what we decked pony in! Personally I find its a brilliant way to bombproof a small childs pony
