If I were to paint the inside of my stable - what kind of paint I should use? (and I don't need colour advice THANK YOU!

For masonry we tend to get regular emulsion and water it down a bit to whitewash on (seems to help it get in all the cracky bits) - wash and paint the stables each year to keep them bright and clean looking!

I painted my stables - my cousin who is a painter and decorator recommended i use 'Bedec Barn Paint' so glad i did, was fab. Have painted them before but this stuff was so much better. It isnt cheap but so worth it. My stables are black and bottom of wall (about 3ft up) then white from there to top. Painted on Friday, Saturday did a second coat then was all dry and ready for my new horse who we picked up on the tuesday :-). Happy Painting!

Ours are the same, old brick barn with mainly wooden partitions. We do the brick with masonry paint & emulsion the wood. Should really use gloss on the wood but can't be bothered, the emulsion does just fine.
