just wondering what everyones thought are on the short based pajero's as we need to sell ours and we are wondering if we should do it privately or go to a dealer and chop it in and maybe loose out when so much money has gone into it.

Do many of you like them?

thing is we want to sell it asap though so we would need to find someone looking for one now we need something more baby seat friendly he is gutted because he loves it and he has spent so much time and money on it.

we love ours too but the length is not suitable for a forward facing car seat for james

Man, that is a toughy - needing to sell quickly for immediate needs but would get more if you hung off for a private sale - could you try and sell it privately, give yourself like a month or something and if not then trade in? X

well i think we could possibly if needs be hang on for another 4 months tops so we will put it on the market asap just need a more family car as its hard getting james in and out of it too.

if anyone hears of anyone after one please let me know we would let it go for a very good price we could get a grand for it at a dealers so would sell it privately for just a bit more.

If it makes you feel any more positive, I got a better offer for my TT when I sold it with a dealer than I got offered privately (I part-exed).

I don't know if you would class them as similar (to a degree obviously) but I think I had difficulty as no-one wants to buy a thirsty sports car at the moment.

I think it is always worth weighing it up. I wanted to get rid of the TT quickly and part-exing was the fastest option...

yeah were in 2 minds at moment we want it to go to someone decent its weird its like selling a horse that car has done us well but with it been 3door and short based just not practical with a baby.
