Hi all, I'm after some worming advice. I've been advised to put my horse on Panacur 5 day guard wormer but the only problem is he won't take it in his food - he simply throws his feed on the floor and walks away!! Do you know if this product is ok to administer via oral syringe for the remainder the course? The data sheet doesn't say that you can or can't so I assume it's ok but interested in the experience of others! Thanks in advance!

I have syringed it in several that refused to eat it, the only problem is that it is rather runny so can end up everywhere other than in the mouth if they try to avoid taking it, just make sure you really get the syringe in and hold the head up so they swallow it and it doesn't all ooze back out.

Stand on something high (mounting block) to syringe it - the higher you are, the easier it is to get it down the horses throat without blowback
