I think I've seen this before...I think he should have been PTS, as sad as it is that he was born like that I don't see the point in dragging out the suffering of the poor creature
I must admit, I am only going by LZT's answer, for some reason,c&p wouldn't work; but IMHO, any animal as dependent on help as that one seems to be does not have quality of life. What do they want it to do, become a fairground attraction and rake them in some money. Totally unfair to my mind.
Sorry but this should have been PTS - the horse is an animal that survives on it's flight ability (tell that to Donkey) and therefore would not stand a chance in nature.
Poor little chap should have been PTS at the start. He is a horse, who should have a quality of life being with other horses. I think the end result will be that he will be PTS when he is too big to be helped up, or seriously injures himself, and he will have gone through all of this for nothing.
Poor thing should be PTS.
We have a calf at the moment waiting at the farm for the kennels to shoot him.
He has gone off his legs and will never have a proper quality of life.
The problems is that it's all well and good with the owners just now but if anything happens to them then what happens to the horse
What a surprise.... more cock-eyed American horse owners doing what's best for themselves and not the horse..... Another one for the Fuglyhorse site.
Needs to be pts sleep I'm afraid. Poor little thing.
Poor little soul - what happens when he's 16HH? It's all very well going to great lengths to save a horse from accident/illness when he's an adult who was 100% before, but a foal that's born wrong... I really think it's against nature and humanity to do what these people are doing.
