I'll listen to a Parelli person's opinions on my horse if any of them have the nerve to get on and try riding her.

I don't have a lot of time for Parelli specifically (it smacks of a cult to me) but I do think that natural horsemanship has some good points that I would use in the right circumstances, but I would say the same about "traditional" methods.

edited to add, as Binky says the over riding factor should be common sense
