Not a huge fan of NH but I won't bore you with details!

However I've watched the Parelli dvds that have been free with a few issues of Horse magazine and the marketing/music is starting to work on me!

Having a few, ahem, difficulties with a new horse and I've almost exhausted all my previous fail proof methods so am now looking for alternative approaches.

Having scoffed my way through the dvds rolling my eyes it dawned on me that I couldn't actually do any of those things with my horses and I thought it might be worth a shot with the new horse who is very intelligent. Trying to channel some of his energy (also on box rest) into positive things instead of using his powers for evil

I don't have a scobe about Parelli, where/how to start etc so could anyone point me in the right direction? PM if you like as I don't want to start a Parelli debate.

I'm really not interested in join-up/Monty Roberts etc though. Open to anything else that people think might help though with a seriously aggressive and dominant horse.

Thank you

How much do you wanna spend? I used to work at the Parelli office and stoneleigh and all the parelli dvds, equipment etc are sooooo expensive. If your that interested they are at the NEC in august so maybe spend to go see that and get some tips rather than the dvds.

Tbh parelli is just common sense about horses being prey animals and their behaviour.

I reckon if def works. My friend has been doin g it for a while and came over to do a bit with Mr Wish, quite dominant and aggressive and he really responded to it.
The dvds are expensive but I got the halter, rope and carrot stick on ebay for £60, a snip at the price of buying direct!!
