Pictures like this make me so proud :)

Dad with Cookie and Mum with Ned!

Dad isn't horsey at all, but something about Cookie and Ned brings out the inner horseman in him!

Ned used to make Mum quite nervous, but now she'll happily stand and cuddle him all day :)

Lovely pics. Your dad looks like he is taking it very seriously lol
Ned looks so chilled out there, I'm so glad its working out
What a beautiful smile your mum has

No pics of my mum with any ponies, she has no interest at all - we had my old horse nine years when she asked what colour he was!

Aww lovely pics! No photos, but I'm out of action at the moment and my non horsey mum did some poo picking for me today, only the second time ever! She did a fab job, very proud of her.

My mum giving my sister a hug while she's on Reg... Don't know if that counts! Everyone assumes my mum is from a horsey background because she's so on it and clever with horses. But she was a town girl until we moved here 14 years ago, and until we got into horses going to a riding school 11 years ago she had no experience at all. It's why when people say "Oh but the parents aren't horsey" it makes me smile- amazing how quickly you learn!

Your mum has a beautiful smile :) I'm glad your boys are settling down now.

What a good idea for a thread :) I love the pics, lolo yours is beautiful espeacially!

A couple of years ago my husband couldn't go with me to a dressage champs at addington so my daddy (totally unhorsey) came along to do the long horsebox journey with me, he really enjoyed it, brought a big picnic, and was so interested, I must admit I felt a bit emotional, I didn't even get placed in the end but still got to trot around the big indoor arena during prize giving as a finalist and he was clapping really hard up in the seats :) :)

He (and mum) always ask after my boys which is really sweet...they can only tell one from the other due to slight height difference..but don't blame them...they are both exmoors....sometimes I struggle! ;)
