Parking spots in the Deverills, Wilts

I'm not far from the lovely hacking in the Deverills, Wiltshire. I'd love to take my horse down there but having driven round bits of it it's small lanes and tight villages.
Where are the best places to park the trailer so I don't get in anyone's way.
Grid refs preferable, but good directions should get me there.

Im sure it was in the Deverills that we parked up and went hacking. We looked round for a yard with parking space and then asked them nicely if we could park. we gave them some wine for it. Had the most amazing hack

what's the pub called on the A350 at Longbridge deverill? they have a big car park and may let you park there if you asked nicely

thats the one! whenever we go anywhere down that way on the 350 we try and stop off there you think i'd be able to remember the name by now
