Yes

I had lessons there from being ooooooh about 10 to 14 years and was VERY briefly, on livery.

Matthew Samson, the young rider is based there as his dad owns the place.

Erm.... what specifically are you wanting to know? About the riding school or the livery or what?

ETS dont buy from them please

Indoor and outdoor school... both quite run down now.... the place used to be lovely but they havent spent much money on keeping it nice anymore.

I have a friend on the Sheffield uni equestrian team and they use the horses and facilities up there... i know she wasnt too impressed due to one horse being lame.

The person who used to teach me left i think but the quality of teaching has never been amazing. It's ok... but it IS very riding school ish imo.

thanks for that.

I take it the ones for sale arent very good!

Maybe will stick to the one in Leeds I go to!

They're dodgy :/

Well.... if you want a full story, send me a PM and i'll be happy to elaborate more.

Sammy who owns the place wont speak to me anymore... he avoids me like crazy (and a few other people involved in said horse) - that in itself speaks volumes for me considering i NEVER actually said anything to him about it.

Personally if you're already riding somewhere, id stay there.

Cheers, I was only wondering what the place was like as its nearer to home than the one at leeds, but from the sounds of it I am better staying there!

I've never had lessons there but I have bought a couple of cracking ponies from him in the past!

Tack shop is pretty good if nothing else!

Not really sure what riding schools are in your area but you could search on yell.com to find some others if you aren't happy where you are

I'm perfectly happy where I am, just was looking for something a little nearer home that was all, and I was in the tack shop a couple of weeks ago!
