As title, would anyone recommend them? I'm on the border of measurements, as i have large calves, but with the elastic they should fit, but are going to be tight to start with. If you have a pair have the 'given' much and is the leather soft?

Before i part with my hard earned money, feedback good or bad needed!!

Thanks

I have the parlanti chaps which have lasted forever and were super tight to start with but are lovely now. My friend at the same time bought the long boots which were tight but did give after a while, the zips only lasted about 2 years though and she said for quality she wished she had bought deniro's instead. she is a tiny size 6 with small calves so its not like the zips were being really stretched.

Thanks for your reply. Hmm interesting to read because mine will be stretched to the max until they give. Hope they dont take too long or i will prob bust them!! Ha ha

I got some off the shelf ones from Equiport at Hickstead. They where very tight around the top of the foot and an i managed to pull the elastic a bit which made a huge difference. Other than than they have been very comfy, a bit snug round the ankle but i like that. The only thing that has bugged me is how much they have dropped, my fault i guess for not getting made to measure so that it could be taken into account.
Oh and im a fairly average size and mine are a large calf, i dread to think how slim your leg would have to be for a small!

Thanks Vam, im ordering XL make me feel like a rugby player not horse rider! lol. However mine need to drop slightly. Were they easy enough to break in or are they going to cripple me for a while...!?

I rode in them every day and they broke in with a couple of weeks, it was the laces over the top of my foot that was the killer. Once they gave they where super comfy, i think my Sarms where easier thou.

Well my Broginis have never broken in, my last pair were super comfy but hate the newer ones i have. I have ordered the ones without laces, so hope i will be ok. Will def ride in them daily then to attempt to break them in quicker!
