Hi,
I hope I'm posting this in the right place!

Can anyone recommend a good breeder of part bred arabs or anglo arabs please? I'm based in Scotand but happy to travel for the right horse.
Thanks :)

Highly recommend doylans stud in Wales
Worth the visit we have two of there's and they are super quality but with amazing temperament quiet enough for children to ride but quality enough to go hoys

Thanks Holliehope :) did you buy PBA's or AA's? What do you do with the horses you have bought from Doyland if you don't mind me asking please?

Both pba at the moment they are both enjoying the end of the pony club season they do a little bit of every thing was brought purely for showing but they are both so veristile that the showing has taken a side line as pony club has taken over ! They was supposed to be showing projects lol but appears the kids at the yard have stolen them
They haven't done a single dressage test to date and not won it and the same goes with the showing bare in mind the kiddies that have stolen them are no great riders both went double clear Xc today in the 95cm
I believe they do have aa as well as pba for sale

No, I've not bought from either of them. PA was/is a member on here, plus I've read about some of his horses in articles (in the Arab Horse Society News). I know that Vlacq was recommended to others wanting to buy PBA and AA horses in a thread on arabianlines, plus they bred Vlacq Gilfea who won the WAHO trophy in 2011.

Mine was bred in Hampshire, so a fair old way away from Scotland.

Thanks for all of the suggestions, I'm working my way through them ( it's a hard life ;)

One more question please...,

I've come across the website for a stud called Sir Nunns of Pinewood which seems to have some lovely PBA's. Does anyone have a Sir Nunns horse at all? Anyone familiar with them? Thanks

Another vote for Vlacq I have personally known and crewed at International level for lots of Vlacqlings, and visited the stud several times. They have a wonderful , natural upbringing, and are never hurried.
