Hi

I am hoping to get a 2010 filly TB x ID, or TB x Hanoverian or TB X Welsh Cob

I am already looking at potential mares to keep eye on so can view foals asap and therefore get best foal possible, does anyone know of any good studs or even have there mare in foal and wouldnt mind giving me some information would be fantastic!

Thanks

That is certainly forward planning! I have a TB mare by Silver Patriarch in foal to our young stallion Athens Mumbo Jumbo ( Hannoverian x TB)- due June 2010. The foal that she had by him this year was reserve cham eventer at the BEF and hunter foal at Equi Fest. Here is a link to the photos from Arena UK:

I hope that helps and good luck in finding your 2010 baby!

I have two mares in foal to my welsh Cob stallion. One is a TB and the other a WB. The TB was a really good racehorse in her time and has done a bit of novice eventing with a local girl, beautiful temperament and great mover. If you would like any other info please pm me. The Yearling in my sig. is by my Cob out of a TB mare.

My TB x Hanoverian (Demonstrator) - fully graded BWBS & SHB(GB) - mare, Dream On is due to the Hanoverian stallion Hendrix (His Highness x Regazzoni x World Cup I) next spring.

Hendrix stands with Jens Mayer and was reserve champion of his performance test in 2007, gaining the highest scoring dressage index.

Please find my website address in my personnal profile or PM me for more details.

I have two ID x TB foals due in 2010. One due in early March and one in early May. Both are out of county show winning mares, one who jumped to a good level before injury forced retirement and the other is graded with SHB GB and will start her ridden career after this foal, after a very successful career in hand.
Both mares have super, sane temperaments and are a pleasure to have around. The TB stallions are both old premium HIS TB stallions, both have a number of show and event horses to their name.

If you are wanting Coloured we well have what you want, we have 3 in foal to Ricco 2 TBs and a 15/16th TB coloured mare she well may have a Homozygous as shes had 3 already to Ricco www.angrovestud.com

I know our stud has a TB in foal to our Irish Draught stallion, this years filly foal is to be retained and will be coming to us for showing next year, she is very smart these are just snap shots at a foal show where she gained Reserve Champion Hunter, obviously dont know what sex it will be lol!!!!

I have a ID x TB foal born this year. He is everything and more that I wanted from my mare. I bred him for me as my mare TB mare got injured as a youngster.

If you want pics etc. PM me.

Julia this isnt a dig at you so please dont take it personally but it is just something in this post of yours that reminded me.
It is slightly misleading i think to put leading sire of eventers on the BEF scheme as that could lead people to believe that the stallion in question has already produced many proven eventers which of course he hasnt as he is still very young.
Its just a bug bear of mine but i feel it should read POTENTIAL eventers.
Like i say absolutely nothing personal about this but just misleading ,there are many people that dont know what the BEF scheme is and wouldnt know it was for foals and youngstock.
Sorry OP for stealing your thread

I have a Head Stud Book, full TB mare by Primitive Rising (who is a half sister to Pippa Punnell's stallion Viceroy), in foal to our TrakehnerxTB stallion Future Illusion, who was the No.1 Ranked Sire of Eventers in the BEF Futurity this year. Her webpage is here -
Prime Thyme

I also have a full TB mare (ex ride of Andrew Nicholsons) also in foal to Future Illusion -
Musical Lyrics

and another Head Stud book, race winning TB mare in foal to the KWPN stallion Ulysses M2S (EksteinxVoltairexLe Mexico) who sired Millfield Ultymate (Jt winner of the 4 Year Old BSJA British Young Horse Championships 2009) -
Persephone Heights

I also have several other 15/16th and 7/8th TB mares in foal.

I'm sorry if my post may have caused confusion for anyone, it would never be my intention to post anything that could be considered misleading as I'm also a stickler for factual statements. I've clearly written that the stallion ranking relates to the BEF Futurity, and as only foals to three year olds can enter this, I thought it was implicit in my statement that it referred to young horses. I've stuck to the wording the BEF uses and I thought that was factual as I could get - clearly not!

Well clearly you have taken it personally as the contents of your PM to me would suggest by its tone.
I have no argument with you or your stallion i was merely pointing out that the statement is misleading which i am entitled to do it is a free country or was last time i looked.
If you read what i put again it says that not everyone knows that the BEF futurity is only for youngstock so for people that dont yes it is misleading.
And no i dont think that what i have said will reflect badly on me as a stallion owner as most people that know me will tell you i am pretty fair and unbiased person and look after my clients and stallion owners very fairly.
If this post is so aimed at you or your stallion find another post anywhere on this forum where i have criticised either you or your horse.
I have far more important things to worry about in my life than trying to put other peoples stallions down.

Julia FSH-I agree with Groomsbridge. The statement is misleading. Not to mention that stock shown at Futurity is only a tiny proportion of potential eventers in the UK.
Whats the big deal? It doesnt have to be a massive hoo-ha

We have no cause at all for fight against you and are merely just pointing something out

Am also hoping for fillies in 2010! Have three in-foal and will be delighted if any/all produce filly foals. Two - a Clover Hill and a King's Master, are in foal to Watermill Swatch. They suit him down to the ground so fingers crossed for that plan.

Clover Hill mare is out of an Aristocracy dam, Aristocracy is Call Again Cavalier's damsire and from the same Lord Gayle line as Moonfleet.

If anyone knows of any fillydances hopeful breeders can perform during the winter, let me know.
