Part/DIY Livery Yard around Gloucester for 2 event horses

Hello all,

I've just accepted an engineering job opposite Gloucester Airport and being based in South Wales, with 40 hours work a week to do commuting isn't really an option.

I'd like to move my two horses up at the end of the month- they're big boys, Tom is 16.3 and a chunky monster and Ping is 17.1 and both thrive on a reasonable amount of turnout (Ping especially as he isn't the best respiratory wise- we steam hay for him currently).

Tom is about to make the step up to intermediate after going double clear around his first CCI* last year and Ping is about to step up to novice so facilities need to be decent enough. Happy to do them on DIY but would like the option for part every now and again should I need it as I'll be up there "alone" - no parents to do them for me!

Haven't sorted my accommodation yet so within 30 minutes from Glos airport would be good, and then I can find my accommodation depending on which direction the horses are from work!

So, any suggestions?

Try asking at Hartpury College....they're going to have a good grasp of event suitable yards around. They also have some satellite yards from their main centre (I think) that might be suitable.
