Part Exchange???

Does anyone know if this happens very often and what the pitfalls could be?

I have decided to sell my sons 12.2 as he has completely lost interest in her. She is a super first ridden pony of 15 yrs.

However I have also been on the lookout for a 14-15hh for myself with the potential for affiliated dressage.

Given the market at present would I be better selling his pony and then looking around 'or' advertising for a possible part ex, and how likely is this to work out? Are there any websites that have this as a option when advertising?

Dealers will often part Ex, but you would be better off selling the pony, then looking for one for you IMO.

If its a good first pony it will sell, always trade for good ones
