Part/Full Livery Stigma- Does it happen elsewhere?

I have horses at home but if one of them needs more schooling than I can manage on my own yard then they go onto full livery. And I mean proper, full livery - exercise included. I pop in for a check, pat and go. I feel absolutely no guilt about that. I have a hectic work schedule, a yard at home and how I choose to spend my time and money is my own business.

I cannot express strongly enough how little I care whether some random person might judge me because they saw my horse in livery and thought that it was because I was lazy.

I think you and your friend need to put less thought into what other people may or may not think.

Me personally, I do not care I am too busy getting on with my life. It's pretty standard though in the horse world that there is always at least one person who has an opinion about everything and will find something to whinge about whatever you are doing.
So just do what you want and ignore any silly comments.

This sums it up exactly.
