I am interested in maybe moving my horses from Stable and Grazing to Part-livery on a yard. They are stressy TBs so a quiet yard would be ideal with a school, plenty of good grazing, all year TO, nice stables and a friendly atmosphere in the Stone, Staffordshire area. Does anyone know of anything like this that exists in the area or am I trying to get the moon on a stick?? I live near Barlaston and work in Stone and I'd travel about 5 miles on top of that.

Alternately does anyone know of anyone who looks after horses who is reliable and experienced who does holiday cover at a sensible price?

If Bradnop is anywhere near Stone you could try Beaver Hall. My girl spent 3 months there a coiuple of years ago when she needed box rest and I can recommend it. She settled very quickly, they do what it says on the can so to speak, there's a horsewlaker, grazing, 2 arenas. Even though they run competions it is still a very relaxed, friendly yard, with lovely owners and staff.

Have you tried looking on the board in Eccleshall Animal Health? I know there are several good places round there if that's any good for you?

Taa folks....I will try the saddleries for adverts. I would like my own yard as an alternative if you know of anywhere. Heart of England is just up the road so will try there thanks. :-)
