part livery near maidenhead - any recommendations?

My horse and I are about to move. While I've finally found somewhere to live, I now need to find my horse a new home. I'm looking for part livery, all year turnout - but with mares and geldings separate (he was gelded late - so this is a must), and with floodlit menage. Good care goes without saying, and access to good hacking would also be nice. I would prefer a small friendly yard, not over run with children. Does anybody have any recommendations or warnings about yards to avoid?
 
Hi I would avoid Lakeside Livery in Windsor, it's a lovely yard a BIG yard and stables and grazing are really good they have 2 schools walker etc....just shame about management though...but go and see for yourself.

I highly recommend Kimbers Farm Livery in Windsor fantastic facilities with a knowledgable caring owner Joe, but he rarely has availability.

There are plenty of yards around the area....google
 
You could look at Hornbuckle farm on drift road as well, it's reopened its livery and that has great facilitys and wonderful hacking. Might be full though!
 
hornbuckle is near me, looks like turnout is good and all round..a friend of mine is at lee farm on the thicket in madenhead which she loves, all year round turnout, amazing hacking(straight onto open thickets, quiet lanes etc) i'm not sure if it is just diy though..worth a look though..
 
sorry also a friend used to be at white place farm in cookham which is v near maidenhead, lovely yard, do part livery i think but it was usually full as was so popular...worth a try too as agai namazing hacking in that neck of the woods!
 
Would recommend Hornbuckle - it ticks all your boxes & is a lovely yard. We went to see it before we moved my boy but was just a llittle out of our price range.
You could also try Tile Place just on the outskirts of Windsor - lovely, lovely yard & the owner Clare is very helpful, think they have a website :)
