Part loaning our pony

Hi, I have a loaner for our pony she will be doing 3 days per week. I'm wondering if we should have a contract? The teenager has only been riding for a short time in a school and only done walk and trot. She will be learning on our pony and I will be making sure she will never be unsupervised and most likely have lessons to begin with and on the lunge when just with her mum. Is it possible to have her mum sign a disclaimer agreeing she rides at her own risk? I believe our pony will be fine with her but nothings 100% and I wouldn't want to risk being sued if something bad was to happen. Thankyou

Yes please do make a contract I believe the BHS as a contract template you can use and delete or add anything that may be more suitable

Insist they have rider insurance too.

Absolutely do have a contract, then you both know what was agreed. If nothing else, it is too easy just to forget details.
