Just a heads up. Most of you probably know this, but I didn't so.....

Just read that the PAS015 (1998) standard has been revised - PAS015 (2011). It is expected that the 1998 version will run parallel with the 2011 for 18 months.

None of the disciplines have any plans to drop the PAS015 1998 standard for riding hats.
So dont go rushing out to buy new hats.

Does anyone know what standard the new Charles Owen hat complies to - the one that has been brought out to compete with the HS1?

From what I can see on the Charles Owen website a lot of their hats including the Ayr8, Pro, Pro II and 4 star are all kitemarked to PA015 2011:

Thanks, I didn't know that, and with a 3 year old I'm about to start riding I was thinking I should buy a new hat as mine is a couple of years old...
