Passed my trailer test today so I will be out buying a trailer very soon!!

How do I find out what my truck can tow? I have tried googling but no joy, I know there is a plate somewhere??

It's a Mazda B2500 pickup truck if anyone knows!!

Am having problems finding the towing capacity for it

No because that would be the logical thing to do! What figures does the plate have on it?

That I believe is an aussie truck so may not have a plate or done in the same way as the UK

A UK plate will have 4 weights on it and always in this order -
GVW
GTW
Axle 1 front
Axle 2 rear
In the majority of cases the towing capacity will be the GTW minus the GVW but if the mmanufacturer has not listed a max towing capacity then just the plated weights will be used

GTW means the maximum actual weight the vehicle and trailer can be when placed on a weighbridge
