Passport change of ownership....confused!!

I have just brought a belgiun warmblood that has a belgium passport, i need to change ownership but the guy i brought her from said to change it with the british warmblood society as its much cheaper, I have NO idea at all howto go about changing it, or how much it costs, any advice?
