Passport Checking Help Please

Hi hoping someone can help me please.

I would like to find out a bit more about our pony we bought earlier thiis year.

He has an Irish Horse Register Passport, with a centre photo copy page stuck in entitled Irish Sport Horse studbook. There is a microchip number and a number where the name should be.

Is there anywhere I can look - I did try the NED but no luck - assumed as it was UK based(?)

NED is no good as he's an Irish bred and passported horse.
It sounds like he wasn't named officially if he only has a number but if you ring or email HSI giving the numbers (registration and micro chip) they should be able to tell you more.
Does it not have the breeder's details in there, they usually do?
