Due to Winnie changing colour like she has I can re passport her and therefore pick her name, She's called Winnie as she is named after my favourite Auntie, My next favourite Auntie passed away shortly after I got her so I'm going to include her name in Winnie's registered name. So Malmsjo Miss Winnie, Malmsjo Windfall, or Malmsjo Wild One, (she was born wild) or something else. MUST start with Malmsjo

The dartmoor Hill pony society have told me to give her a new name if I want to as they are changing colour details and will change name free of charge, no one is quiet sure if her current passport name is what it should be anyway.

So not a dispute? You can change their names anyway, you just pay a fee, although why you’d want to unless you’re top level showing is beyond me. Mine didn’t have a stable name when I bought him, at least, no-one knew it, so I chose that.

Piebalds - and a lot of other colours - change over time. You can change passport details - far more easily now becuase the chip will match. If you want a new name just change the name. You want to chnage the description. Change it. Its not an overstamped passport. There is no dispute. Just do what they have asked you. Pick a name and get on with life.
