Passport Help

Does anyone know where I should send my horse's passport off to in order to get owner's name changed? He's a Hanoverian, bred in Germany (so I don't understand a lot of what is written on his passport!) - his previous owners didn't update it to say they owned him, so currently his passport states that his breeder still owns him.

If anyone could shed any light on this I'd be very grateful!

Have you had a good look in the passport? Is there a German breed society address somewhere on the front pages? Maybe as part of an official stamp? If there is then write to them (in English) asking for details on how to change ownership. This is what I did when I had a Holstein and they were very helpful.
