passport producer question - interested to know...

further to kirtsyhoneyb's post about being asked for her share horses passport on one of her share days...


has antyone actually ever been asked to produce their passport when out and about?

not at shows and travelling obviously, but just randomly?

i didnt even get asked for mine by the vet when he was prescribing drugs, nor was i asked if the horse is excluded from entering the food chain, but i got drugs that would only be given to an excluded horse...

not so much when out and about but when the vet came to do his jabs the first time they asked if he would end up in the food chain so they could put it on their records. They have recorded his jabs on the passport but not the drugs he had when he was sedated for his op
