Sorry! I am making the preparations for Zoom's adventure to France and have noticed that her Passport was issued before her eye was removed. The identification section therefore does not include it.

Do I need to have this changed?

If so - do I need a vet to sign off on it and get a new one issued?? Her ex-owner is a vet so I'm sure she will do it but presumably I need to get a whole new passport?

Also, I don't know if she is microchipped......I will get vet to scan her but if she isn't, does she need to be??

Thanks!

No, you won't need another passport at all but you should ask vet to amend the sketch with a written explanation, date eye removed etc in the piece where it says 'acquired marks' (at the bottom of the written description) and obviously sign and stamp it too. For extra peace of mind, ring your passport issuer and ask if they need to overstamp this or not as some insist, others can't be bothered.

As to microchip, it's always a good precaution anyway and doesn't cost too much now to get done.
