Going to see pony in the morning for my granddaughter. They have sent us 4 videos and it seems just what we are looking for but it doesn't have a passport.I have downloaded an application form from wetherbys as don't think it will have breed papers. I will be having its injections done if we like it so thought I could get my vet to do description then.I know that they are supposed to have one but it might be a hassle .Do you think I should just say knock £20 off and we will do the passport.

I would go for more than £20 as it really isn't a lot of money. Say £50ish as otherwise they will have to keep the horse for about 3 weeks until one turns up.

I think a lot of people in Wales just don't bother .These ponies are bred on the hills and aren't worth much and by the time they get a vet to do description and buy passport they would be out of pocket and just don't bother. The pony is quite cheap ,we have looked at quite a few and this one just has my hopes up .The videos show it crossing a stream then trotting up a bank and over 2 small jumps.Being washed with a hose pipe not tied up and drinking out of the hose.Standing bareback and the young girl vaults on turns and goes into canter up a hill, the girl crawls under him then he is on a ride on a busy road.He is 10.3 hands and only 4[they bougt him last year off the mountains unbroken] and just seems a calm, unflappable happy chap but we may not like him when we see him .The camera can lie but there is something I like about him. We would worm him and get him injected and give him a lovely life.

In the morning , it is a long way from us [120 miles] but if we like him I will try to get them to meet us halfway with travelling to pick him up. He still looks really young but I hope he will be just what we want
