Passport

If a you have adopted a horse from a sanctuary and they're not forthcoming with the passport, can you apply for a replacement or are they within their rights to with hold it? Not me just someone I know.

I would ask why they are not forthcoming? It is needed for vaccinations etc..sounds a bit odd to me but i have never adopted a horse

Sounds odd,you really need a proper explanation,is it a registered charity?

Registered charities that I know of all send the passport with the animal, it needs it to travel to new placement and then for vaccs to be recorded.
2 that I deal with keep scanned copies on line, they send out reminders for flu vacc and ask that adopter/fosterer scans in updated vacc page once done.
