Passports i have two???

I recently purchased a horse and she had been through a dealers before i purchase privately! I have two passports traced all old owners and she has been ligitmatly sold just wondering if its illegal for two passports or doens not matter both are up to date and in process of being transferred in my name! <font color="blue"> </font> <font color="blue"> </font>

As far as i know it is illegal to have 2 passports. My pony was bought with a passport that we were told was fake. It was falling apart and had tipex in it plus so much more. We got him a new one and all was fine. We the found out passport was real but had not been registered under my mums name like the passport showed. So we called up that society and explained it all and they said the dealer he came from is known for that sort of thing, so they made it void and were happy to do so. As you have recently bought the horse call up the place they were issued and explain to see what they say.

I called the place and they said that i have to return the passport but they will not refund the amount paid two weeks ago to change it into my name surely this is not correct ??
