Yes, I sent a passport application to a breed society when we bought a pony - so passport had his breeding in - and they cancelled the NPA passport he came with before issuing the replacement. Took over 3 months, I had to chase up several times. Didn't matter, as it was raining when we bought him, rained all winter till it snowed and then was too wet again to get our trailer out so we weren't going anywhere!
