I am just getting round to sending my horses passports off for change of ownership.
My first horse has gone on loan (I know I should of given her the passport but I need to put it in my name first, then I will give it her).
His is with the Pleasure horse society, I have tried to ring a few times and there is never an answer. I have owned him for a year now- If I send them a letter, passport and cheque will I get a fine for not notifying them within the 30days? Also will I need to send them proof of ownership? I don't think I have the reciept anymore?
Also my other horses passport is with the BSPA, I have spoke to someone in the office and they said they needed proof of ownership, so I had to get the old owner to forward one on from Ireland as I never had from one her (I never even met her when I bought him!) She has now forwarded this to me. The BSPA said not to worry as this is common. Does anyone know how much to change of Ownership for BSPA is? I have £40 in my head for some reason, but havent been able to get hold of them to ask price?
Thanks
