I need to register my foal but not sure who to use, he is a QHxTB but i really cant afford to register him with AQHA UK as it costs £70, i have found some others on the net from Pet Id Equine, Farmkey, BHS and they are all around £24 which is much cheaper.

Does anyone recommend anywhere to register him at a reasonable price?

If you want to have him registered as a part bred quarter horse, I think you have to passport with the breed society, I could be wrong though.

If you totted up the costs of breeding £70 isn't that much, I think it would be worth getting him a breed society passport, especially if you plan on selling him.

I agree with Team Barney - if he is bred from a registered QH, you would be foolish not to register him with the breed society. You also need to get him chipped, if you haven't already done that.

Ideally i would like him to be registered with AQHA but i dont have that sort of money at the moment and the vet is coming out tomorrow to geld, microchip and do the passport application.. once the application has been completed by the vet, how long do i have to send it off to the passporting place?
