Pastern arthritis please help

Please anyone had any success with a horse with this? My boy is 7 and I'm heart broken! Steroids did work for 4 months now trying irap but vet says it will only bide me time!! I'm trying magnetic boots and tumeric but anyone got a success story to cheer me up x

Can't give you any advice, sorry, but just wondered how it was diagnosed. My boy has possible tendon injury in his hind pastern, nerve blocked to tendon sheath but nothing showed on the scan. He has had a steroid injection into it.

His was very clear on the X-rays damage to the front of the pastern joint! Nerve blocked then x rayed 👎🏻 I had no heat or swelling I'd presume u do though?
