And as for you rude people ; ) ..... I shall try all of the above suggestions, just to add one more into the mix - Someone has just told OH ( In the pub - so may be total boll***s ) That I should express off some milk then put a hot ( from microwave ) towel over boobies which should stimulate horemones to get things going... Is my first so don't know if this will mmake a difference.

Try a sauna??? Something to get you blowing bit..... my friend went 2 weeks over and was about ready to oik him out with a spatula! lol! However, I think the best approach would be a nice steamy bath, a cup of warm milk and an early night - then get you OH to bounce on your belly 'til sproglet pops out! Like a pea in a pod! xx

See! I go off and do some work (thought I should seeing as they pay by the day and I spent far too much of their bit on here :D :D :D), and look what happens! I miss out on a veritable tonne of Jelly Tots, no-one has stirred the cauldron (gawd knows what it's like in there now), and if that's not enough, I miss a party under the table! Maybe the one in the birthing pool is still going.... *runs off to have a look*

As to babe - I seem to remember trying most of the above :o :D.

I'm obviously losing my touch- I didn't understand what the dog comment was about until I read this ^^^. Even then I had to read it several times before the penny dropped. I obvisouly need to beg the pub I used to work in for a couple of Saturday evening/night shifts!!

I can bring sticky toffee muffins to the party, can I come? :)

Right - that's it! This thread has become deeply offensive to me. As someone who has just been told to reduce their cholestorol levels I can no longer stand all this loose talk about galaxy (provoking cravings) and toffee muffins (now that is just plain cruel). You may continue to bandy jelly tots about - I have no strong feelings about those.
I am now off to whimper quietly in a corner as your under table party does not cater for my diet! I refuse to join the birthing pool bunch for fear of what chocolate withdrawal may lead to me doing with the ratchet.

EgerdenFarmStud - why don't you take bring your mare in to join the party, either under the table or in the pool I'm sure she won't mind!! Perhaps you two together might encourage each other into labour? Bet she would like a jelly tot too.

I am also very disturbed as I'm sure somewhere near the beginning of this thread someone mentioned a parma violet flavoured milkshake? I am now feeling quite sick at the thought.

I do have a confession, please don't make me leave the forum but I don't like jelly tots.
 
FFM, don't go - I have, um, *tries quickly to think of something yummy and non-fattening, and, failing miserably, decides to join in the flounce off to bed, stopping only to nick A's pizza crumbs*

WTF?? I go off to fall off my horses for several hours and come back to this?? Not a yellow shiny pony in sight but a ton of JT and chocolate wrappers?? I'm frankly disgusted (actually that would be a great name) that nobody invited me. I'm an ex Vet nurse so I am adept at making un alive puppies and kittens come alive again after a section although not sure how my bedside manner would go down at a birthing pool....

Now, back to business, I have some slightly wilted celery sticks in the fridge and some ben and jerry cherry garcia frozen yoghurt (it's healthier than ice cream but tastes just as good), some gu chocolate puddings, a bag of pickled onion monster munch and some salad. Any takers? I'll swap for some Galaxy..?

Our local Dominos Pizza has just reopened after a refit and everywhere you go in the local town there are pizza boys holding signs advertising special offers and mobile ads being towed behind cars and a blow up balloon thingy outside the shop - any minute now I'm going to give in and stuff the diet!!

Shouldn't be allowed when some of us have no will power!
