Pat Eddery RIP

What a shock to hear of his death this morning.
His ride on Dancing Brave in the Arc was one of those abiding memories for me of the golden era of flat jockeys in the '80s.
He came steaming up the middle with a wet sail and chinned them on the line. What a fantastic ride he gave that horse.

I bought the Racing Post, they explained his problems post riding, so sad.
He was so talented, like no other, so happy to live the life which fulfilled his dreams.
