Pat parelli sends letter of apology regarding catwalk the stallion

I read this at the time, I did not think he apologised for the treatment of the horse, but rather for 'confusing' the audience. In their original statement Parelli said we did not 'understand the methods and therefore were confused', I found this very condescending personally, it was abuse pure and simple, it was incidental that it was PP doing the abusing.

Quote " Confused Method"

Gosh, does the man really think he can justify what he did to turn it around and pass it off as the public being confused. Enough said.

He's quite right. None of us know what he is talking about, none of us know what makes him so amazing, we just don't understand. No! Don't ask for an explanation, we mere mortals couldn't possibly understand anyway, it isn't worth his time explaining. We are just ignorant, he is not. Simples.:p

I just wanted to post in another parelli thread because..... well, because I wanted to and I'm bored.

*snorts*

Waiting for andy pandy or whatever his name is to pop up on here!

just a few things that make me snort...

apparently that was *passive persistance*

PP has over 30 years experience and catwalk surprised me because there were several times he gave e signs that he was changing, and then he would just try another tactic'... sh it me, 30 whole years and you've never had a horse try that on you! *snorts* again!

having said the above, after reading his statement I feel so much more comfortable with PP and LPs practices... NOT.

I wonder what he would say if we all went to that open day in the uk somewhere (someone advertised it on here a few days ago) and took video evidence of him and his wife hitting the horses? Would he say the same thing then? Doubt it!

What an idioot, my opinion not that of this forum ( waver) :)

I would like to meet the person that had not been involed with a horse that changed tatics just to get the messure of you, or make you stop what you are doing to it.

It messed up my late horse, and I do beilieve it will do the same to others, the man is a pratt, again see above ( waver)
