Patent Bridles??

Hey,

I'm wanting to buy a patent double bridle for my WB.

I'd like it to have a curved browband and preferably be rolled on black leather.

I don't really have a limit on spending but would rather it not be over £400

I have a GFS Patent Rolled Snaffle for him at the minute (I love it!)

Should I just get the GFS Patent Double or does anyone know of anything else?

I have found at the moment there is a very limited choice of patent bridles on the market, I ended up buying my noseband and browband on ebay, and putting it on my normal bridle, and looks very smart, if you have the budget I would stay with th GFS bridle, that's what I would have got could I have had afforded it
 
Check out premiera bridles from hypostore! I have a double and it's gorgeous and they have just bought out new ones with bling curve browbands :)
 
you could have a look at Wolds Exclusive Bling on Facebook. I have a lovely dressage bridle from them and its beautiful with lovely soft leather. I'm sure they do rolled patent doubles and they have a large choice of brow bands etc :).
 
Really? Cos I am mega impressed with the leather on mine. Had it a year and it's still mega buttery soft and hasn't stretched or faded. Did you get the rolled bridle?
 
I love my wolds exclusive bling bridle. She does a lovely range of patent sparkly bridles. They are English leather and she fits them like a glove :)
 
Thanks guys, I've seen the FFS ones on eBay but I'm just a bit dubious as I've heard the leather patent isn't really leather but a cheap lookalike.

Has anyone got or used a Kieffer bridle? I'm looking at the Kieffer Paris double :)

I've liked Wolds on FB a while ago; I'll give her a message and see what she says too
 
FSS-you want the ones labelled patent gloss, these are genuine patent leather. the ones just labelled patent,are a really rubbish finish that rubs off.

i LOVE Rowy's premiera :)

friend has just ordered the kieffer paris so will let you know how that is if you PM me i a couple of weeks.

Interesting thanks PS, I'm currently looking for a patent double bridle too, I have a Wolds Exclusive snaffle, so ideally would like something else, was looking at the GFS I love it, but dont love the price tag!! My jump bridle is Albion, which I love but they dont seem to have any sparkles/patent :mad::confused:
