Hi everyone!
On Oct 1st we are getting our new pups, patterdale/Lakeland crosses, a brother and sister. The dog seems like he is going to have a smooth coat, and the bitch a kind of broken coat. Both are black. Does anyone have any tips/pointers/info/wisdom lol about them? And if anyone can think of any good names?!! Thanks!
 
OH has a couple of Patterdales. Are yours from working lines? Are you going to work them?

Re. names..see the post about naming a JRT, lots of good ones in there.

Hi! Yes, they are from working lines, and yes, going to work them. My brother has JRT's, so we will see how we get on! Can't wait to get them! Going to try and work out how to post a pic lol (can u guess I'm new lmao)...
 
Hehe...well you've managed the avater very well! OH's are working, they are always soooo excited to see people but are known as being 'hard' dogs. Just be careful they don't scrap when they're older...mums JRT's are always picking fights with the inuits! *sigh*
 
Lol! Yep, will def take more pix. Bought a new camera this weekend, complete with working flash lol! All the pups are lovely, all black apart from a black and tan dog, but the gamekeeper got there before us, and chose him, and another bitch lol. But def pleased with our selection. Also, it's kinda good that 2 sets of brothers and sisters are staying together. Just names to think of now!
