Anyone got any experience/feedback they would like to share. PM me if you would prefer. It's for a 13-year-old girl competing her two 138cm ponies at 1.10-1.30M.

Thanks in advance.

Same as most trainers - many on here rave about him. I neither liked or disliked my lesson with him but he disliked my old horse intensely and so I never went back ;). Why not try Corinne especially for junior???

He does clinics at my yard - could be worth a watch before deciding? Have heard good things from a couple of the liveries on the yard (although not sure they're people who would know a good trainer or not :p)

He certainly a reasonable trainer. I have had a couple of lessons with him and didn't disagree with anything he did or said. I wouldn't put anyone off trying him based on my experience, but he just didn't really float my boat for some reason.
He is pretty hot on the flatwork so if you like to charge around jumping big fences he probably won't be for you.

My gut feeling are there would be better options out there for 13 yo's.

Paul is the lead coach for the BS Berks Junior Academy, so plenty of experience with juniors at all levels. He has taught me for a long time & when I look back we have made loads of progress. He is firm but fair, lots of patience & very encouraging, as someone else said very hot on the flatwork too which I like. His teaching style really suits me & he is a genuinely nice bloke. He teaches all levels & from what I have seen gives everyone, whatever their ambitions & level of riding the same professionalism & attention. Would definitely recommend. Also he teaches my friends daughter who is 11 & has done since she was about 8, she loves her lessons & is doing well with her new bigger pony.
