Paul Tapner Appreciation Society question

Hi

I am an Aussie newbie, hi, and am quite curious about the PT appreciation society...how many members are there and how did it all get started?

Sorry, I find it a bit of a giggle and just have to know (hope I haven't offended anyone).

Hi, and welcome to the forum

Am LMAO here - it was me that started it, I think me and The Henmeister are the only members

I nearly bought a horse from Paul a couple of years ago and thought how very good looking he was, so have followed his eventing results ever since. Then recently he happened to be competing at the events which are closest to me - Gatcombe and Hartpury - so I mentioned on here how cute he was and got myself a signature with his pics on it

HHOers have oblidgingly swallowed my story that I am now stalking him and seem to think I know all about him.... sadly all I know is what can be found on his website

I do think he is a good rider as well as being very fit BTW.... so if you have any knowledge of him do feel free to pass it on

PS - oh and I met his wife too, she is lovely and so are his two kids

So please be assured that of course I'm not stalking him

What a crack up. I love your sig!!! He is a great guy. Don't worry, I didn't think you were stalking, it just made me giggle.

I keep my horse on his parents property here in Oz and so catch up with him when he comes home. His wife is really lovely and the kids just gorgeous, too.

I think he his a fab rider as well and was a little disappointed that he wasn't selected for our Olympic team...

If I think of anything useful, I will pass it on...

I was so disapointed for him about the Olympics too, I really thought this time he was going to be selected, but I guess he is young enough to have a few more Olympic opportunities to come

My ex boyfriend had a horse with him for a while.. I never thought he was that good looking but in general men in breeches have never really done it for me...

Acolyte, don't worry I am not likely to dob you in..

If I told you I think he is pretty hot and am jealous that at least you were living on the same continent as him, would that make you feel better???

His time will come for the Olympics, we have a pretty strong pool of eventers to choose from and now they have broken away from the "must have Olympic experience at all costs scenario" our younger up and coming riders like Paul might actully have a chance.
