Pay Per view equestrian web site galleries

Partially due to your good quality images - yours have always been the highest quality to steal - I already suggested and massive darker watermark and lower res

Never underestimate bored people - I could visit the same page 10-20 times if I keep getting interrupted at work!

I wouldn't pay to view, but with your pricing, I would probably always buy from you as your prices are far more reasonable - 55 prints for £40 is unheard of - I got 2 for £40 at Addington!!

I see where you are going - I do think your area must be full of tight wads - I spent £150 on prints at the Blue Chips and trips to Addington were expensive !!

I know fuel is dear, but how about travelling out of area? Would Brackley in Oxon be too far for you?? (There is a competition coming up and I want pics!!)

We have reduced the quality of the images online and strengthened the watermark, very pic now says "Image Stolen From..." but I still see these regularly, often as FB profile pics and often by people who add me as a friend! Go figure.

Re bored people yes I see your point. The 55 was jpegs not prints, albeit far cheaper than I would probably normally do.

We have recently started travelling further afield and have covered several larger premier shows at the Hand Arena in Somerset. So I am not opposed to the idea, as a business we need to ensure that we can service all of our existing work in the south east. We will also shortly be photographing the SWSJC show at Chard over Easter.

Yes as TGM says the low res images that we supply can be used for any personal enjoyment, we offer a slightly higher resolution image with commercial usage permission for £10.

I wouldn't pay. A lot of people don't have spare ££ for photos when they could get their friends to take something or at least a video for them for free. If I am at an event where there was no-one available to take pics for me, I just go without.

I'm another that wouldn't pay to view images, I have had far too many images taken either too early or too late, and even if the horse has jumped well the images aren't nice enough for me to buy. I just wouldn't risk paying money to view.

Not sure what to suggest really. Reduced price images would always tempt me to buy (I begrudge spending £15 for one picture), but then you will say that you can't do them any cheaper and make any money.

Would be interesting to see if prices for prints were lowered, if the amount of pictures bought went up and you ended up making more money in the long run.
