PC AH test

did mine about 4 or 5 years back now but doubt its changed much! I crammed in under a week for mine using the AH folder mainly as I had uni exams the week before and they got priority!!

Most is common sense, be confident especially in the lunging and ride and lead sections. and you will be fine. If I can pass convincingly with that little formal prep then you will be fine i'm sure, :)

Wear a hacking jacket, stock or P.C tie, P.C badge etc. Look smart and sound confident with your answers.
Good luck.

I did mine in march-be confident but not cocky.Stand quietly yet try and stand out if you get what I mean :P.
When you lunge, do it strongly esp. if you have a lazy horse-dont be afraid to touch it with the whip.Dont step back, shorten the line and make the horse do the work.
Hacking jacket and velvet hat is more perferable I reckon,With dark gloves,no waistcoats or shizzle lol.
Recall info from past experiences rather than from books, praise the horses, know all the extra details .Im sure you will fly it :) but dont feel down if it doesnt go right, you will not be the only one!

If it doesnt go right though, make sure you get your sheets if available and ask plenty of ques.I failed mine because of nerves in the first 15mins and checking every detail. when I explained to our trainer why, she asked "Did you get that in writing?" I told her no and she said it wasnt a vaiable fail-seems like the other girl passed yet didnt now what oats were, couldnt bandage and dropped her lunge line .Wish Id asked for it in writing now!

Out of interest ,are you a normal member or an associate?
Very best of luck :)x

Excellent well done, daughter recently passed her B and wants to go on to AH after LT so will send her to you for tips :D:D

Will you be carrying on your training?
